MORGAUSE- SISTER OF THEE -DARK QUEEN OF AVALON (THE TIMES OF KING ARTHUR)

Born of the parents of Duke Golois and Igraine, my name, Morgause, meant ‘phantom queen or great queen’ which many did see me as thru out my reign as King Lot’s queen but I was so much more. I was powerful but that is not what I came to be known for! For I was the mother of Mordred, the bastard son of King Arthur who longed to destroy the kingdom of Camelot and become the king of kings. This is my story and no others!
A mighty enchantress did I become when all is said and done yet moved upon the chessboard of kings was I for one to obtain more power. King Uther the warlord saw me as his pawn but also as one who could destroy him for what he had done to my family in his lust for my mother. Cast away I was to become the wife of King Lot far from Uther’s kingdom.
It was there I did practice my spells and create my potions and awaited the time Uther’s bastard would arrive. For if I could not destroy Uther within this life then his heir I would. To me Arthur was no more than a person who should never have been for he came from the seed of one I did hate so very much.
I am Morgause and I will make all pay who had hurt me!
