MERLIN OF CAMELOT
A soulful reimagining of Arthurian legend.
Merlin of Camelot breathes fresh life into one of the most enduring myths of all time. V.L. Reynolds Rhodes crafts a story that feels both timeless and personal, blending romance, mysticism, and reflection into a poignant look at Merlin’s final years. The narrative carries the wisdom of age and the melancholy of a man who has seen greatness rise and fade.
What makes this book stand out is its intimate voice Merlin’s “final note” feels like a farewell from an old friend, full of insight, regret, and peace. For lovers of Arthurian lore, this is a beautifully meditative conclusion to a legendary saga.
A DASH OF GUINEVERE

I loved every moment of this story. It paints Guinevere not as a legend or a scandal, but as a woman with dreams, pain, and a complicated past. Her relationships, especially with Lancelot and her sister, are written with heartbreaking honesty. Brilliant storytelling.

MORGANA, SISTER OF THEE
So I was minding my business sipping lukewarm coffee when Morgana, in all her flaming red hair glory, basically kicked down the door of my Kindle and said, read me. I swear my mug trembled. The way you paint her, the healer, the beauty, the girl everyone envies before Arthur even breathes his first cry. I felt like I was being pulled straight into the torchlit halls of Igraine and Gorlois, spying like some gossiping court servant who can't keep their mouth shut. That vibe, that lush early Arthurian energy.
ARTHUR'S DESIRE
Morgause- Sister of Thee-Dark Queen of Avalon came through as a raw reclamation of a woman history usually reduces to a footnote. Told in Morgause's own voice, it feels less like a retelling and more like a reckoning power, bitterness, magic and grievance braided together with purpose. There's no softening her edges, and that's what makes it compelling. Dark. Defiant. Unapologetically personal.
Morgause
Reimagining of Arthurian legend from Morgause's powerful and defiant perspective.
Morgause Sister of Thee Dark Queen of Avalon is a dark, compelling dive into the untold story of one of Arthurian legend’s most intriguing figures. VL Reynolds-Rhodes gives voice to Morgause with fierce intensity, painting her as a powerful, complex woman navigating a world of betrayal, magic, and destiny. The book captures the political intrigue, personal vengeance, and mystical elements of Camelot with vivid detail. I loved how Morgause’s perspective challenges the traditional tales she is neither just villain nor hero, but a deeply human character shaped by circumstance, ambition, and pain. The tension and emotion are palpable, and the narrative pulls you into her world from the very first page. If you enjoy historical fantasy, magic, and layered characters who defy simple labels, this book is a must-read. Morgause is unforgettable, and I can’t wait to see where Reynolds-Rhodes takes her next!
Morgause immendiately stood out for its bold decision to center a woman long cast as a shadow in Arthurian legend and allow her to finally tell her truth. Her transformation from political pawn to formidable enchantress sparked rich discussion about agency, vengeance and how trauma shapes destiny. The emotional weight of betrayal, exile and maternal legacy resonated strongly particularly in how Morgause's rage and ambition are framed not as monstrosity, but as consequence.
